The plain-language terms for using ScadaBench.
Draft terms published for transparency. The binding version is the one shown by the installer.
1. What you get
A trial lets one computer use ScadaBench for 7 days. A lifetime license lets one computer use it without time limit. A license is personal to the buyer and may not be shared, resold or used on more computers at once.
2. Moving to a new computer
You may move a license to another computer yourself up to 2 times a year. The previous computer stops working when it next checks online.
3. What you may not do
- Bypass, disable or tamper with licensing, or reverse engineer the software except where law allows it.
- Use ScadaBench on an operational substation or any live control network.
4. Engineering responsibility
ScadaBench is a laboratory and engineering aid. Results must be verified on the real equipment before use in protection, control or safety decisions. The software is provided as is, without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Third-party components
ScadaBench includes third-party components under their own licenses, listed in the licenses folder of the installation.
6. Ending the license
A license ends if these terms are broken or the purchase is refunded or reversed.
