    Download and install

    Run the installer. It installs for your Windows user only, so no administrator prompt is needed.

    Start the free trial

    Open ScadaBench and press "Start 7-day free trial". It needs internet once.

    Import your SCD

    Devices › Import CID / SCD, pick the IEDs, then press Run. Your SCADA can connect right away.

Windows says "Windows protected your PC"? Choose More info, then Run anyway. Windows shows this for new apps that are not yet code-signed.

GOOSE and Sampled Values need the free Npcap driver from npcap.com, installed with its default options. Everything else works without it.
